Which pages will my business appear on?
Business category pages: the categories assigned to your business that match your services, where Featured Businesses appear above standard listings. County listing pages: Nassau and/or Suffolk, based on where you actually serve customers. Homepage: Your business appears in our Featured Local Businesses section while your membership is active. Display order changes weekly. Blog posts promote the Featured Business membership itself; individual member placements inside articles are not part of the guaranteed package.
How is the order of Featured Businesses decided?
When more than one Featured Business qualifies for the same page, their order rotates weekly so each member gets time in the top positions.
What do I need to send?
Your business details and photos. We use them to prepare your enhanced profile and placements.
When does my promotion start?
Within five business days after we receive everything we need. Your first newsletter spotlight is scheduled within 90 days, and promotion continues while your membership is active.
Is a blog article included?
No. A dedicated blog article is not part of the membership.
What is your refund policy?
You get a full refund if you cancel before your first paid placement goes live. After activation, we don’t offer prorated refunds for unused parts of a month or year, subject to applicable law and our Placement Promise.
How do I cancel?
Use the online cancellation link in your billing confirmation email. Annual members also get it in the renewal reminder sent 30 days before renewal.
Do you guarantee leads?
We guarantee the promotion we provide, not a specific number of leads or sales. If we miss a guaranteed placement or scheduled spotlight, we credit your membership for the affected month.
How is this different from my free profile?
A free profile gives people a place to find you. Featured adds ongoing promotion: priority placement, homepage rotation, an enhanced profile and newsletter spotlights. Don’t have a profile yet? Claim a free business profile.
